4. Sharing of Personal Information

We engage trusted third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, payment processing, and customer support. These providers act as "processors" under data protection law and are contractually required to process personal information only in accordance with our instructions, maintain confidentiality, and implement appropriate security measures.

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to gather information when you interact with our Services. Some online tracking technologies help us maintain the security of our Services and your account, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and assist with basic site functions.

We also permit third parties and service providers to use online tracking technologies on our Services for analytics and advertising, including to help manage and display advertisements, or to tailor advertisements to your interests.

Specific information about how we use such technologies and how you can refuse certain cookies is set out in our Cookie Notice.

If you choose to register or log in using a third-party social media account (such as Facebook or Instagram), we will receive certain profile information from that provider. This may include your name, email address, profile picture, and any other information you have chosen to make public.

We use this information only for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice or otherwise made clear to you at the time of collection. Please note that we do not control how your social media provider collects, uses, or shares your information. We recommend reviewing their privacy notice to understand their practices and how to adjust your privacy settings.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required by law (for example, tax or accounting obligations). As a general rule, we do not retain personal information for more than six months after account termination.

When we no longer have a legitimate business need to process your information, we will delete or anonymize it. If deletion is not possible (for example, because data is stored in backup archives), we will securely store and isolate the information until deletion becomes feasible.

8. International Data Transfers

WannaCall may transfer personal information to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland. Where such transfers occur, we implement appropriate safeguards to ensure your information remains protected, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other legally recognized mechanisms. We do not knowingly collect or market personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18, or that you are a parent or guardian consenting to a minor's use.

If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will deactivate the account and delete the data. If you believe we may have collected such information, please contact us at contact@wannacall.com.

11. Your Privacy Rights

In some regions (like the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us using the contact details provided in the "Contact Us" section below or by updating your preferences.

However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal, nor will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can:

  • Log in to your account settings and update your user account.

If you choose to remove cookies or reject cookies, this could affect certain features or services of our Services.

12. Do-Not-Track Signals

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

13. Updates to This Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to remain compliant with applicable laws and practices. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Notice will reflect the latest version.
